June 2008 Blues News

Reminder - read your Clover Chronicle. It's full of information.

Our club will be hosting the exhibit hall during the county fair on Saturday, July 26, from 1-4 p.m. Please mark your calendars. Please sign up today to help. You may want to check the events for that day at the fair and make it a family outing. The llama fun night is at 6 p.m.

Each family is also encouraged to have your older children (grade 3 and older) and a parent or two to help for a shift at the 4-H food booth that week. Our kids usually love doing this. It's fun to sign up with another family or two that you know. Just call the 4-H office to sign up.

Our end of year family party/celebration will be at the Paden's on Saturday, August 23 from 4-9 p.m. Hot dogs, hamburgers, and drinks will be provided. Everyone needs to bring a side dish and a dessert to share. Come dressed to have fun and maybe get dirty.

As you go to do your projects be sure to read all the information in the 2008 rulebook about your project requirements. Be sure to read the introduction and the specific information of your year or grade.

Each 4-H member will receive a FREE pass to the 4-H fair. Be sure to pick it up at the fairgrounds when you turn in your projects. Please don't forget or it's $5 each person, each time you go without the pass.

Our club needs to donate an item for the Silent Auction. Does anyone have something they would like to donate this year? If so please let Sandie Paden know as soon as possible.
